Saranda or Ksamil? Where to stay for party nights on the Albanian Riviera
Saranda puts the boats and the coast-road venues on your doorstep; Ksamil puts Greg Beach, Principotes and Mulino Beach within walking distance. The coast road south of Saranda sits next to two of the venues.

Saranda and Ksamil are about 13 km apart, roughly 20 minutes by car, and in 2026 the parties on this site were split between the two. Where you sleep decides which nights you can walk to and which ones need a ride back. Start from the parties you want, then pick the base: this page sets out three options, with the times we measured from each one to every venue.
Base 1: central Saranda and the promenade
Staying near the seafront promenade puts both 2026 boat-party boarding points three or four minutes away on foot. Lost Seaside is about 17 minutes' walk along Rruga Butrinti and Bougainville Bay about 20.
It is also the easy base for arrival and departure days: the Corfu ferry terminal is around 12 minutes on foot from the centre of the promenade.
The Ksamil venues are then about 20 minutes away by car, so a Ksamil night means planning the ride back.
Walking from the promenade

Base 2: Ksamil village
From the centre of Ksamil, Greg Beach is about five minutes on foot and Principotes about eleven. Mulino Beach is at the northern edge of the village: about 23 minutes walking, four minutes by car.
In 2026, at least six of the twelve party series on this site took place in Ksamil, including the latest published finishes: Marrakech and LA FRENCH ran to 04:30 and La Parisienne to 05:00, all at Greg Beach. Walking home from those is a good reason to sleep here.
Butrint is about six minutes away by car, an easy plan for the day after. For a boat party or a Saranda venue, count about 20 minutes by car each way.

Base 3: the coast road south of Saranda
Rruga Butrinti, the road that leaves Saranda towards Ksamil, is where Lost Seaside and Bougainville Bay are, three minutes apart on foot.
From Lost Seaside or Bougainville Bay the promenade is under 20 minutes on foot, and Ksamil is slightly closer than from the town centre: about 20 minutes by car.
Pick by the nights you want
Using the 2026 pattern on this site: our Ksamil nights included the Latin Pool Party on Mondays and Fridays, Marrakech on Tuesdays, La Parisienne on a Wednesday, LA FRENCH on a Friday, Saturdays at Principotes for The Wolf of Wall Street and Sundays at Greg Beach for the White Party. Our Saranda nights included the Lost Seaside white party on a Tuesday, the Bougainville Bay pool party on a Thursday, the White Party on the Vikingen on Fridays, the Boat Party Vikingen on a Saturday and Le Classico on Sundays.
If your dates fall mostly on one side, sleep there. If they mix, splitting the stay (a few nights in each) keeps most of your walks home short. Late finishes can settle it: the finishes after 04:00 published on this site in 2026 were all at Greg Beach in Ksamil, at 04:30 and 05:00.
The late ride between the two
Whichever base you choose, at least some nights will be on the other side. The trip is about 13 km on the coast road, roughly 20 minutes by car. A local bus runs along this road between Saranda, Ksamil and Butrint; for the late return, plan a taxi or a ride in advance.

It depends on the nights you choose. In 2026 Ksamil hosted at least six of the twelve party series on this site, including the late beach nights at Greg Beach; Saranda had our boat parties and our venues on the coast road. Sleep on the side where most of your nights are.
How far is Ksamil from Saranda?
About 13 km along the coast road, roughly 20 minutes by car from Saranda's promenade to the centre of Ksamil.
Can I walk to the parties from Ksamil?
Yes for Greg Beach (about 5 minutes from the centre) and Principotes (about 11). Mulino Beach is about 23 minutes on foot, or four minutes by car.
Where should I stay for the boat parties?
Near Saranda's seafront promenade. In 2026 the Boat Party Vikingen and Le Classico boarded there, three or four minutes on foot from its centre.
