Saranda (Sarandë) is the town on the Albanian Riviera that faces Corfu across the Ionian. Its party nights split into two short stretches: the seafront promenade, where two of the 2026 boat parties boarded, and the coast road heading south towards Ksamil, where our venues sit a few minutes' walk from each other. Here is what each spot hosted in the 2026 season, how long it takes to reach on foot, and how to fit a Saranda evening around the sunset.

The promenade: where the boats boarded in 2026

Saranda's seafront promenade, Shëtitorja Naim Frashëri, runs along the bay in the middle of town. Albania's national tourism agency lists it among the places visitors and locals use most, for a walk, a coffee or dinner facing the water.

In 2026 it was also the departure point for two of the boat parties. The Boat Party Vikingen boarded from its own spot on the seafront and sailed from 17:30 to 21:00, according to its poster; Le Classico, the French boat night, boarded on the promenade itself from 17:30 and sailed at 18:00. The two points are about 270 metres apart, so whichever of the two tickets you hold, you meet in the same part of town. The same boat's Friday White Party boarded at 23:00; its poster did not print the meeting point, so ask us on WhatsApp.

The ferry terminal for Corfu is just west of the promenade, roughly a 12-minute walk from its centre.

Two boarding points, one walk

In 2026 the Vikingen and Le Classico boarded on Saranda's seafront, about 270 m apart. Boarding for Le Classico opened at 17:30.

The coast road south: venues close together

Leave the promenade heading south and you are on Rruga Butrinti, the road that continues to Ksamil and Butrint. Our Saranda venues on land are on this stretch, all with a Rruga Butrinti address.

Lost Seaside comes first, about 17 minutes on foot from the promenade. Bougainville Bay Resort & SPA is next door: three minutes' walk separates the two.

Bougainville Bay is a full resort. Its own website lists 122 hotel rooms, 13 villas and 60 apartments, four pools, sea-water pools among them, two restaurants and four bars, along with mosaics and ceramics by Albanian artists.

What each Saranda venue hosted in 2026

Lost Seaside: The White Party – Sunset Edition, sold as a Tuesday night from 20:00 to midnight, dress code all white, with last entry at 21:30 on the ticket and a door payment for later arrivals.

Bougainville Bay Resort & SPA: on Thursday 3 September, its Infinity Sunset Pool Party ran from 19:00 to 00:00, in an infinity pool looking out to sea. The sun set at about 19:09 that evening, so the party opened just before it.

On the water: the Boat Party Vikingen on Saturday 5 September, 17:30 to 21:00 according to its poster, whose ticket page listed swimming stops, three dance floors, foam on board and an open bar; Le Classico on Sundays in August, back at 21:00, with one drink included, a fireworks show, a bottle show and a French DJ set; and the White Party on four Fridays from 21 August to 11 September, boarding at 23:00 and back at 03:30, with fireworks, a bottle show and a French DJ.

These are the 2026 dates on this site; our 2026 programme article lists them week by week, and the calendar on this site shows whatever is on sale now.

Timing an evening in Saranda

Read as a single evening, the 2026 programme on this site ran in a clear order: boat boarding at 17:30, the infinity-pool party from 19:00, the white party from 20:00, then, on Fridays, the White Party boat at 23:00.

Sunset is your reference point. In Saranda the sun set around 20:08 in mid-July, 19:37 in mid-August and 19:12 on 1 September 2026. If a sunset party is the reason you booked, check the time for your exact date and arrive half an hour early.

The full hours, dress codes and door rules for each type of party are in our party-hours guide.

The Blue Eye, a day trip from Saranda

The Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), a karst spring at Muzinë, is about 18 km from Saranda according to Albania's national tourism agency; our measured road route from the promenade is 21 km, around 45 minutes by car. A morning there still leaves the evening free for a party on the coast road.

Our Butrint and Blue Eye article explains how to fit either sight around a party night.

Saranda and Ksamil in the same trip

Greg Beach, Principotes and Mulino Beach, the Ksamil venues, are around 13 km south of the promenade, roughly 20 minutes by car. Mulino Beach, on the Saranda side of Ksamil, is the closest of the three.

Staying in Saranda and going to a Ksamil night is a normal plan: sort out the ride back before you go out. Our getting-around guide covers the coast-road bus, taxis and walking times.
